A very very old picture today. This was when Lilly was only 5 months old, so October of 2003? I'm going back through the old pictures, trying to remember what it was like with a newborn, I just can't imagine having a child that small again, one that doesn't tell me what to do and when to do it. One that doesn't say, 'Mommy, I doing nothing!' when she's really coloring the bathroom door with her purple crayon. It seems like so much longer than 3 years ago that we brought that little baby home from the hospital, I cant believe that we'll be doing it again in about 6 months! This is one of my favorite pictures of Lilly from that stage. She was just getting her first taste of carrots. The picture was taken with an HP camera, 1MP I think? The poor thing got us through about the first year of Lilly's life.. I shudder at the thought of taking pictures with that monster again. The out of focus and horrible exposure are grating on my photographic sensibilities, but I thought it was just too cute to pass up.
