This is Aiden, 16 months old. I did this session about a month ago but forgot to share. This is one of my favorite shots from the session, but his parents didn't order any prints of it. I guess it just has to do with whether you're looking at the image from the perspective of knowing the child and knowing their personality, or just looking at it in terms of artistic/technical merit. I was just happy with the shot because I got the focus and I like the dof/bokeh. Of course, I encounter the same thing quite a bit with this blog and when sharing images of Lilly with other people.. Some of the pictures that I just ADORE and want to blow up big and look at all day of her hardly get a response, and then the ones that I just think are so-so get a bunch of comments. It's funny what appeals to people and for what reason. Camera: Canon EOS 10D ISO: 400 Shutter: 1/750 Aperture: 5.6 Focal Length: 75.0mm
