![]() Since I got my Tamron in December I've been shooting pretty much exclusivly with that, but I recently pulled out the 50mm 1.8, and I've been pleasantly surprised. I've gotten much better at focusing in the last 6 months or so, so I'm getting great shots even at wider apertures, which I wasn't doing before. I would LOVE to have the 50mm 1.4, but I *think* my next lens purchase will be the 85mm 1.8. I have seen some amazing shots with it, and would love to have it for outdoor shoots. Of course, the lens is in line after a new camera (maybe), so it may be awhile. I've been frustrated with my 10d, but I think it's probably me just being picky. I'm drooling over the 30d (or the 5d, but I like to keep my dreams reasonable Hah!), hopefully I can save enough before the baby is born.. I've got all sorts of newborn pictures planned! About this Picture: Harland visited this evening and I was able to catch a few shots of him on the back porch while we were talking about his trip to the zoo. He's got such an expressive face, and such big brown eyes, I love it when I can get him to sit still for more than 2 seconds to actually get an in focus shot. | |
